Al Shafa Caravan Park

Set in Taif, the Caravan Park project hosts a communal open space of at least 20,000 sqm, in addition to landscape buffer areas. On the whole, the project seeks to conserve the native landscape and typography as much as possible, utilising the most sustainably viable options in our approach. The area allocated to accommodate each caravan and/or cabin is connected to electricity and water, with suitable site and drainage sullage points, fire pits, and a communal playground. A reception area would be available on-site, as well as a mobile food truck hub as part of the communal spaces. Each caravan space includes access ways, parking spaces and garbage receptacles. The connecting road was designed with a slope angle in mind to allow for incoming and outgoing caravans to manoeuvre smoothly.

The attraction of this project lies in the fact that it can be used in a number of ways. Hospitality businesses, for example, can rent out the entire space, operating and managing the park and its facilities for different seasons or seasonal events. The park can also be open to the public to rent out individual spaces for their caravans, making use of the communal space, tent areas and various facilities available.
