Shiraa

Shiraa, a residential project consisting of six villas, located in Obhur, North of Jeddah. This development aims to create a more comfortable living experience for modern families who are collectively interested in function and design. 
 
The project is intended to identify and resolve the key challenges in the current typical villa designs, thus setting a new and improved experience for residents. Each plot of land consists of 418 sq.m. As we had to design with a specific construction budget in mind, the overall built-up area was therefore limited, which made it possible to enlarge the landscape/outdoor area. The design seeks to challenge the norms of the archetypal houses here in Saudi Arabia by completely eliminating the concept of the typical backyard, focusing instead on creating a pleasant front yard area while separating any back of house facilities for privacy reasons.
