Tayseer Apartments

The Tayseer building has five habitable levels, consisting of apartments designed to accommodate seventeen families within six apartment types, each distinct in terms of configuration. All are designed to cater to families of various sizes. We organised each unit around an interior core, hence minimising circulation corridors and seamlessly facilitating visual links between the rooms to the streets and surroundings outside. In turn, the spatial composition as well as the openings express an architecture that reflects a sensitive response to the local desires of apartment hunters, while the choice of grit on the facade enables us to create an economical and resilient skin for the building.
